With the new-generation Africa Twin, Honda has succeeded in seamlessly following on from the Africa Twin's legendary predecessor. Despite the much more comprehensive electronics package since the 2020 update, the Honda CRF 1100 L is still a straightforward motorcycle for adventures on and off the road. For the latter, the Africa Twin, with its robust suspension system, long spring travel, and spoked wheels in sizes suitable for adventure bikes, is ideally suited.

High-quality suspension parts

Let's look at the suspension system right away: Honda delivers high-quality, mass-produced goods that basically do a good job. For demanding applications with a high offroad component and massive payload, the Touratech experts recommend upgrading to a more robust shock absorber model from the "Travel" series by Touratech Suspension.

In the course of the conversion, customers have the option of raising or lowering their Africa Twin if required. The same applies to upgrading the fork with the fully adjustable Cartridge Kit Extreme.
